Purchasing & Logistics Specialist – Fixed‑Term 18 Months

About the role

We are looking for a Purchasing & Logistics Specialist to manage day‑to‑day purchasing, supplier inquiries and logistics coordination while supporting our Development, Hardware and Production teams. This fixed‑term position offers the chance to deepen procurement and supply‑chain expertise in a fast‑growing defence technology company and gradually take ownership of more complex sourcing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day purchasing activities and purchase orders.
• Prepare and manage supplier inquiries and RFQs.
• Communicate with suppliers about pricing, availability, lead times and deliveries.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics and transportation.
• Follow up on orders to ensure goods and materials arrive on time.
• Support Development, Hardware and Production teams with purchasing and supply‑chain activities.
• Identify and source potential new suppliers and solutions when needed.
• Keep purchasing, supplier and logistics information and documentation up to date.

Required profile

• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English for communication with international suppliers and partners.
• Ability to manage several tasks, projects and changing priorities in parallel.
• Experience with logistics and transport coordination is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP or purchasing systems is a plus.
• Technical understanding or interest in technical products is beneficial.
• Experience in a technical, manufacturing or defence‑related environment is an advantage.
