Senior Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and test secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions that meet business needs. You will work end‑to‑end, from architecture through implementation and monitoring, ensuring reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Packer.
• Deploy and maintain services such as Kubernetes, HashiCorp Vault, Consul, and various databases.
• Develop and optimise monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor and New Relic.
• Create comprehensive documentation for internal teams and platform users.
• Own projects from architecture to production, presenting design decisions and driving alignment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance their infrastructure implementations.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Terraform for IaC.
• Practical experience with Azure cloud services and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language: PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience setting up security, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for application and infrastructure deployment.
• Experience with containerisation using Docker.
