Senior Commercial Analyst

About the role

A Senior Commercial Analyst plays a key role in building a disciplined, insight-led growth engine that supports sustainable and profitable growth across the customer lifecycle. Working with stakeholders across Commercial, Credit Risk, Product, Operations and Finance, you turn complex data into actionable insights on onboarding, credit limit management, customer engagement and revolving balance growth. You will also help develop automated monitoring and champion-challenger frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer, portfolio and commercial performance to identify profitable growth opportunities.
• Develop insights and recommendations that optimize onboarding, credit line management, customer engagement and revolving balance growth.
• Design, run and evaluate champion-challenger tests and experiments.
• Build and maintain performance dashboards, monitoring and reporting frameworks.
• Partner with Commercial, Credit Risk, Product and Finance teams to turn business questions into analytical solutions.
• Identify and quantify the drivers of customer behavior, profitability, growth and portfolio performance.
• Automate recurring analyses and monitoring, and support data-driven decision frameworks.
• Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels, balancing growth ambitions with profitability, risk and customer value.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Finance or a related quantitative discipline.
• 3-5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, strategy, consulting or a similar analytical role.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, banking, credit cards or consumer lending is an advantage.
• Experience with experimentation, A/B testing or champion-challenger methods is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL and experience with large, complex datasets.
• Python, R or similar tools for analytics and data modeling.
• Dashboards and visualizations in Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
