Senior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

About the role

pawaTech is seeking a Senior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale modern infrastructure across on‑premise and cloud environments. You will enhance Infrastructure as Code practices, automate operational processes, and help develop internal platform services for a high‑traffic iGaming platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure on‑premises and in cloud (AWS, GCP).
• Improve Infrastructure as Code practices, primarily using Terraform.
• Automate provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows.
• Design, deploy, and support Kubernetes clusters and internal platform services.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, security, and performance of infrastructure.
• Work with networking components and infrastructure services.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture and operational improvements.
• Participate in incident management and continuously improve automation processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform and IaC.
• Proficiency with Linux (Ubuntu), networking, and production infrastructure.
• Experience designing reliable, scalable production environments.
• Hands‑on Kubernetes and containerised infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS and GCP.
• Solid understanding of scalability, reliability, redundancy, and operational best practices.
• Ability to work independently, own decisions, and communicate technical choices.
