Software Engineer – Payments & FinTech

About the role

An established financial services company is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop human‑centric payment solutions and build the next generation of financial‑technology products in an agile, cross‑functional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and ship robust, maintainable software, applications, and APIs.
• Lead and participate in technical architecture designs and communication.
• Collaborate within an agile cross‑functional team and attend regular scrum ceremonies.
• Analyze and implement business requirements while maintaining thorough system documentation.
• Implement industry best practices to continually improve the codebase and architectural standards.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with C# and the .NET framework.
• Proven track record in developing, shipping, and maintaining cloud‑based applications.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, distributed architectures, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Familiarity with cloud development environments, with Azure experience being a plus.
