Software Engineer – QSHE Digital Solutions

About the role

In this IT role you will manage, develop, and support the technology infrastructure that powers Kuehne+Nagel’s global systems and operations, enabling the delivery of fresh fruit, time‑sensitive healthcare products and more worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable, high‑quality software solutions.
• Build and execute automated and manual testing strategies to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Optimize databases, build pipelines, improve infrastructure and application performance.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, Business Analysts and other stakeholders to deliver business value.
• Support software operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, continuous improvement initiatives and third‑level support activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular and Git version control.
• Experience working with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL and MongoDB.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder management skills with fluent English proficiency.
