Software Product Manager - C2 Platform

About the role

DefSecIntel Solutions builds defence and security systems for Europe's border security, defence and critical infrastructure protection, including autonomous surveillance systems, unmanned surface vessels and counter-UAS solutions. It is looking for a Software Product Manager to own the roadmap for its C2 platform and related software products, turning customer, operational and business needs into clear product priorities and working across engineering, hardware, UX/UI, QA, Customer Success and Business Development.

Key responsibilities

• Own the software product roadmap for the C2 platform and related products
• Translate customer, tender and operational needs into requirements, use cases, user stories and a prioritized backlog
• Define product vision, priorities and release plans with the Head of Product
• Prioritize development based on customer needs, company goals, delivery commitments and product vision
• Work with software engineering, hardware, UX/UI, QA and Customer Success to deliver quality releases
• Align software and hardware products and manage cross-functional dependencies
• Gather feedback from customers, end users and Business Development and support tenders and customer opportunities
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies and competitors to guide future development

Required profile

• Experience managing complex software products with multiple stakeholders and technical dependencies
• Proven ability to own and prioritize a product roadmap
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Experience with C2, defence, robotics, autonomy or unmanned systems is a strong advantage; experience with integrated hardware-software products and user-centred design is a plus
