Accountant (Temporary Contract)

About the role

Luminor Group is looking for an Accountant for its Accounting Estonia Team, within Group Finance, which covers accounting and taxes, financial and regulatory reporting. This is a temporary contract (maternity cover) based in Tallinn, open mainly to candidates already living in the Baltics.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting and monthly closings, including reconciliation and bookings
• Handle operational issues and stay up to date with regulatory changes
• Take part in projects such as rollouts and upgrades that support production processes
• Share knowledge with colleagues and partners to reduce dependency on key employees
• Plan, deliver and follow up on personal tasks on time, within quality standards, budget and company values

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or ongoing studies, preferably in Finance or Economics
• Understanding of basic bookkeeping, including taxation and accounting principles
• Relevant work or internship experience in accounting is an advantage
• Fluent spoken and written Estonian and English, as the role works at Pan-Baltic level
• Attention to detail, strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, ability to work independently and to manage several tasks

What we offer

• Gross salary of 2,290 - 2,900 EUR per month, depending on experience and competencies
