About the role

Join a fast‑growing iGaming startup as an Anti‑Money Laundering Analyst, responsible for day‑to‑day AML operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations. You will also drive automation and process improvements within the AML team.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle and investigate AML alerts, including PEP, sanctions and adverse media alerts, ensuring thorough documentation and timely resolution.
  • Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews, assess customer information, and identify relevant risks.
  • Communicate with customers throughout the EDD process, requesting and verifying Source of Wealth and Source of Funds documentation.
  • Prepare AML account reviews, document findings, risk assessments and recommended actions.
  • Identify and escalate suspicious activity, assist with preparation of Suspicious Transaction Reports.
  • Support AML‑related queries from Customer Support, VIP, Payments Operations, Fraud and other internal teams.
  • Identify automation opportunities and implement solutions using AI tools such as Claude.
  • Analyze AML performance and compliance data using Excel, Power BI and other analytics tools, collaborating with the Data team.
  • Collaborate with IT and Product teams on AML tools, reporting solutions and user acceptance testing.
  • Support regulatory requests, AML procedures and compliance updates.

Required profile

  • At least 1 year of experience in the online gambling sector combined with AML, KYC, Payments Operations or Fraud experience.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; Finnish or Estonian language skills are a plus.
  • Good understanding of gambling systems, AML/CTF regulations and risk‑based compliance principles.
  • Hands‑on experience with Customer Due Diligence, AML alerts and verification of Source of Wealth/Funds.
  • Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and decision‑making abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Proactive, solution‑oriented approach with ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Commitment to teamwork, integrity, confidentiality and high ethical standards.
