Business Controller – Supply Chain (Baltic Unit)

About the role
We are looking for an analytical and proactive Business Controller for the Supply Chain function of our Baltic Business Unit. Based in Tallinn, you will partner with production, logistics and management teams to drive cost efficiency, budgeting and digital reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse supply chain, production and logistics performance to identify cost, efficiency and profitability improvement opportunities.
- Calculate, maintain and review product standard costs, production and logistics costs, providing variance explanations.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and performance management aligned with operational decision‑making.
- Develop, automate and maintain operational KPI dashboards and management reports.
- Support S&OP, capacity evaluations, business cases and investment analyses with financial insights.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, Logistics and Product Development to ensure financial transparency.
- Leverage digital finance tools, including AI solutions and Power BI, to enhance reporting quality and efficiency.
Required profile
- Higher education (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Finance, Economics or a related field.
- Solid experience in business controlling, operational finance, supply chain or logistics cost analysis.
- Proven background in product costing, standard cost calculation and variance analysis.
- Business‑partner mindset with ability to translate operational data into clear recommendations.
- Fluent Estonian and professional English; basic Russian is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel regularly to the manufacturing site in Ogre, Latvia.
Required skills
- Power BI for reporting and dashboard creation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and data‑processing capabilities.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Familiarity with AI‑enabled finance tools such as Microsoft Copilot Pro.
