Chief Operating Officer (COO) – International Pharma

About the role
We are seeking an operational leader to build the next stage of J. Molner, a growing pharmaceutical company with Estonian roots and global ambitions. The COO will own the day‑to‑day operational engine and create a scalable platform for international growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead global operations end‑to‑end, covering supply chain, procurement, S&OP, production planning, logistics, inventory management and CMO relationships.
- Develop and coach teams, set clear expectations and drive performance and accountability.
- Drive cross‑functional execution for post‑acquisition integration, new product launches and operational improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate R&D execution, including development pipeline, technical transfers and stability programmes.
- Work closely with Quality and Regulatory leadership to ensure operational alignment and effective execution.
- Partner with the Founder/CEO on US operational and commercial coordination, linking Estonia and US operations.
- Oversee operational financial performance and build scalable processes that support new products and geographies.
Required profile
- Senior operational leadership experience managing multiple functions simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of the full product lifecycle from development to commercial launch.
- Background in a manufacturing‑intensive, regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals or medical devices.
- Hands‑on operator comfortable moving between big‑picture strategy and detailed execution.
- Proven ability to build high‑performing teams with strong accountability.
- Commercial mindset with focus on cost discipline, working capital and efficiency.
- Clear, direct communication and decisive problem‑solving with imperfect information.
- Comfortable working internationally; excellent command of English.
