Demand Management Analyst
Wise · Tallinn
Job description
About the role
Wise is hiring a Demand Management Analyst in Tallinn. As the senior execution authority and "Demand Signal Integrator", you turn fragmented demand signals from Product, Compliance and Operations into structured, forecast-ready inputs for headcount planning and SLA performance. You validate assumptions so that no demand driver enters production without structured volume attribution and capacity visibility.
Key responsibilities
- Enforce the "No DM sign-off, no launch" governance policy and lead the intake of demand drivers into a central Source of Truth.
- Build and run a tier framework classifying drivers by volume impact and lead time, and act as the main contact for senior leaders on launch timelines.
- Analyse historical data, build advanced Google Sheets models and work with WFM to convert demand forecasts into headcount, FTE and skill-based capacity needs.
- Run "What-If" scenario modelling on SLA and cost impact, use SQL for cohort analysis, and hand approved capacity plans to Scheduling and Intraday.
- Leverage generative AI and large language models to speed data extraction, document assumptions, write and debug SQL scripts and generate predictive scenarios.
- Monitor post-launch volume against expectations, run root cause analysis on forecast variances, and build LookML models and dashboards.
- Mentor junior team members, review intake logs and demand plans, and drive the move toward machine-learning-driven forecasting.
Required profile
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Workforce Management, Demand Planning or Capacity Planning in high-volume environments.
- Ability to explain complex analysis in 3-slide narratives to non-technical Product leads and to negotiate with senior leaders.
- Deep understanding of SLA mechanics, AHT drivers and intraday patterns, and comfort making risk-based decisions with incomplete information.
- Ability to coach others without formal direct-report authority and strong accountability for demand accuracy.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (complex modelling and macros) and SQL (joins, subqueries, window functions).
- Advanced statistical methods such as ARIMA or GARCH for time-series forecasting.
- English professional fluency; other operational languages are a plus.
