DevOps Engineer – Core Platform

About the role

Join Luminor’s Engineering Core Platform Department as a DevOps Engineer. You will ensure reliability, security and operational excellence of the infrastructure that powers critical banking services across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure, scalable and resilient AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage cloud networking, security, monitoring, backup and disaster‑recovery capabilities.
• Develop reusable Terraform and Terragrunt modules for multi‑environment deployments.
• Administer and automate Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Operate and enhance monitoring, observability and alerting solutions.
• Support incident response, root‑cause analysis and post‑incident reviews.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in DevOps, platform operations or infrastructure engineering supporting large‑scale, business‑critical systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, load balancing, monitoring, backup, DR, etc.).
• Deep knowledge of Terraform/Terragrunt and configuration‑management tools (Chef preferred, Ansible/Puppet/SaltStack acceptable).
• Extensive Linux (RHEL) administration and automation skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
• Fluent English communication and willingness to participate in on‑call rotation.
