Electrical Engineer II

About the role

Repligen is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support product design changes, new product introductions and technical transfers worldwide. You will work closely with Change Management, Product Management and cross‑functional engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve electrical and electromechanical designs, maintaining schematics, single‑line diagrams, 3D CAD models and BOMs.
• Create and release work packs (schematics, BOMs, work instructions, manuals) for operations and product management.
• Collaborate with Change Manager and stakeholders to plan and roll out design changes.
• Support NPI projects and technical transfer to production and manufacturing teams.
• Gather feedback from production and after‑sales to drive design improvements.

Required profile

• Technical/engineering qualification with at least 3 years of electrical design experience for industrial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of CE and UL electrical safety standards.
• Commercial awareness and ability to consider cost impacts.
• Willingness to work outside normal office hours and occasional travel.
