Electrician – Crane Systems Maintenance

About the role

Join Konecranes to keep world‑class lifting equipment operating safely through inspections, maintenance, and repairs. You will work on advanced crane control systems and travel internationally to support projects.

Key responsibilities

• Find and fix electrical faults.
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, sensors, motors, and advanced crane control systems.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on lifting equipment.
• Upgrade legacy systems with modern automation and electrical solutions.
• Participate in commissioning and deployment of new crane technology.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years experience in electrical maintenance, installations and supervising on cargo handling equipment (e.g., RTG, RMG, STS, MHCK).
• Knowledge of crane electrics and hydraulics.
• Ability to read diagrams and drawings.
• Basic PLC and TIA Portal skills.
• Experience preparing technical and inspection reports.
• Strong communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently (≈80% of the time).
• Driving licence category B with >2 years driving experience.
• English level B2 or higher.
