Electrician

About the role

Your mission is to find and fix electrical faults, work with VFDs, sensors, motors, inverters and advanced crane control systems, and keep world‑class lifting equipment operating safely through inspections, maintenance and repairs. You will also upgrade legacy systems with modern automation, participate in commissioning and bring cutting‑edge crane technology to life.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on cargo handling equipment.
• Operate and maintain VFDs, sensors, motors, inverters and advanced crane control systems.
• Conduct inspections, routine maintenance and repairs on lifting equipment.
• Upgrade legacy electrical systems with modern automation solutions.
• Participate in commissioning of new crane technologies.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of electrical maintenance, installation and supervisory experience on port container cranes (e.g., RTG, RMG, STS, MHC).
• Knowledge of crane electrics and hydraulics.
• Ability to read diagrams and technical drawings.
• Basic industrial PLC and TIA Portal skills.
• Experience preparing technical and inspection reports.
• Readiness for frequent international travel (≈80% of the time).
• Relevant vocational or engineering education.
• Driving licence category B with at least two years’ driving experience.
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
