Finance Business Partner - Servicing

About the role

Wise is hiring a Finance Business Partner to join its FP&A team in Tallinn, supporting the Servicing team (Customer Support, Financial Crime and KYC) as it scales. The role is strategic: partnering with senior stakeholders to scale costs effectively, forecasting headcount and operating costs, and driving decisions with data.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Servicing leads to reduce unit costs and shape how the team invests and grows.
• Lead the planning process, improving forecasts of complex headcount and operating costs.
• Design and own scalable financial frameworks to analyse the cost base, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Run deep dives on key metrics and variance analysis (actuals vs. forecast) to improve forecast accuracy.
• Build a narrative on results and manage reporting to department leads and leadership.
• Share knowledge across Finance, represent the team in cross-functional initiatives and mentor junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising senior department leads and influencing upwards.
• Extensive experience building complex financial models and owning end-to-end cost analysis.
• Track record of high-volume headcount planning and capacity modelling, ideally in an operational or customer-facing setting.
• Experience setting policies and procedures, implementing cost controls and monitoring spend.
• Professional finance qualification such as ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent (MBA or master's in Finance).

• Excellent communication and influence with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work across teams, offices and time zones, including travel when needed.
• Bonus: experience in a fast-paced environment, AI for process improvement, and working knowledge of Anaplan and Workday.
