Finance Payment Specialist

About the role

Our Accounting team in Tallinn is expanding, and we are looking for a Payments Specialist to join us. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about numbers, eager to take ownership, and ready to thrive in a fast‑growing, international, and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, approve, and release vendor invoices, intercompany, tax, treasury, and other internal payments in line with agreed standards, processes, and SOX requirements.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to payment processing, including contributions to bank reconciliation processes and month‑end closing tasks.
• Manage payment‑related queries via email, Slack, and Jira.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in our payment processes.
• Support team leadership with key projects and initiatives.
• Assist with risks and SOX controls performance related to payments.

Required profile

• Must be currently based in Estonia with valid work authorization.
• Ability to work autonomously, make decisions, and take initiative.
• Experience in processing payments is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Understanding of core accounting principles.
