Grant Project Manager

About the role

Stargate Hydrogen is looking for a Grant Project Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day management of its ongoing national and EU-funded R&D projects, including the Innovation Fund project. The role sits within the R&D team, working closely with the lab and engineering teams and in regular contact with the Finance team. It is based in Tallinn, with at least three days a week spent in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Keep work aligned with the work plan and set goals
• Take part in drafting new grant applications
• Support ongoing project reporting by collecting, structuring and combining technical and financial data
• Ensure deliverables and milestones reach the funding body on time
• Prepare and organise project meetings
• Keep project records organised and manage daily communication with employees and consortium partners
• Work closely with R&D teams and attend project meetings abroad, usually 2 to 3 trips per quarter

Required profile

• Proven experience managing grant-funded projects; experience with Horizon 2020/Horizon Europe projects is preferred
• Solid understanding of grant management principles and guidelines
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Nice to have: experience coordinating an EU-funded project, the EU Funding & Tenders Portal, technology-driven projects, and Horizon Europe experience
