Grants Expense Coordinator

About the role

PSI, a Contract Research Organization with 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, is expanding its Operations and is looking for a Grants Expense Coordinator to join the Grants Expense Management division. Based in Tallinn, Estonia, the role ensures that physicians and hospitals receive on time and accurate payments for their participation in global clinical research programmes, from budget planning and cost estimation to final study reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan the budget, distribute grants between countries and beneficiaries, and estimate costs
• Coordinate and process payment calculations within clinical research projects
• Act as the contact point for Accounting, Legal and Operations teams to ensure proper payment flow
• Set up payment databases to calculate financial reimbursement to hospitals
• Write business and functional specifications for payment databases
• Compile grant expense forecasts
• Make the calculation and payment process transparent and report payment status to internal parties and clients

Required profile

• University degree; economic background is a plus
• Experience working with large volumes of financial data
• Experience in grant management in clinical research
• Experience in an international setting
• Upper-intermediate English, spoken and written

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Critical and analytical thinking, detail orientation and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving, flexibility and good customer service and interpersonal skills
