Group Lawyer – Legal & Compliance

About the role

Creditstar Group, an international consumer finance company headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, is looking for a lawyer to join its Legal & Compliance team. You will handle everyday legal tasks related to the Group's activity and report to the Head of Legal & Compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in various legal projects and matters and help ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
• Review partner contracts, prepare and organise legal documentation and manage internal documentation
• Help draft and present replies to official inquiries from supervisory bodies in the jurisdictions where the Group operates
• Oversee engagement with local law firms, partners and other relevant parties in target markets
• Work cross-functionally with Country Management, Marketing, Finance, IT and other teams

Required profile

• Years of legal experience, ideally at an international law firm; in-house experience is helpful but not required
• Master's degree in Law
• Fluent Estonian and English; additional languages are beneficial

• Excellent written and oral communication, able to convey ideas concisely to diverse audiences
