IT Infrastructure Engineer – RMA & Diagnostics

About the role

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and firmware issues in our data‑center environment. The role focuses on managing Return‑Material‑Authorization (RMA) processes and providing expert support for server equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve challenging firmware and hardware problems on servers.
• Develop and apply work‑arounds for IT hardware incidents.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert and escalation point for L1/L2 technicians.
• Create and maintain process documentation for the IT hardware team.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors on warranty replacements (RMA) and related requests.
• Continuously improve support processes, documentation, and training materials.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of datacenters and server equipment.
• Deep experience troubleshooting IT hardware and firmware.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux operating systems and command‑line tools.
• Experience in equipment monitoring, data analysis, and presenting findings.
• Proactive attitude, sense of responsibility, and high proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Bonus: ability to repair electronics at component level (SMD), knowledge of network equipment, and a valid B‑type driving licence.
