IT Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide hands‑on IT support in a corporate environment. You will troubleshoot end‑user issues, manage desktop and laptop devices, and act as a key on‑site contact for technical support and escalations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site and remote support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, Microsoft Office, Outlook and VPN issues.
• Perform Install, Move, Add and Change (IMAC) activities, device deployments and break/fix support.
• Manage device configuration, OS imaging, patching, upgrades and hardware replacements, coordinating with vendors where required.
• Use SCCM, Microsoft Intune and ServiceNow for device management, asset tracking and incident resolution.
• Install and update approved software in line with IT policies and security requirements.
• Assist with Active Directory user accounts, access requests and basic account administration.
• Provide VIP support and coordinate with remote technical teams during critical incidents and outages.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in desktop support, deskside support or a similar corporate IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications and end‑user hardware.
• Experience with device imaging, software deployment, patching and hardware diagnostics.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi).
• Familiarity with SCCM, Microsoft Intune and ServiceNow or comparable tools.
