Lead Piercer – Part-Time

About the role

Mejuri is looking for a Lead Piercer to head its studio operations, delivering premium piercing services while driving customer satisfaction and profitability. You will work in a modern studio environment, overseeing the full client journey from greeting to after‑care education.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete piercing customer experience, including check‑in, styling, transaction, and after‑care guidance.
• Act as a brand ambassador, building a strong local clientele and promoting Mejuri’s piercing services.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to improve studio workflow, scheduling, and online booking.
• Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring proper sterilization, sharps disposal, and compliance with local regulations.
• Oversee inventory, ordering needles, gloves, sterilizers and other studio supplies.
• Provide product expertise on labret sizing, materials, gemstones and metals, and assist clients with styling and downsizing.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience performing needle piercings.
• Experience with threadless jewellery and autoclave (or Statim) sterilization.
• Current First Aid, Blood‑borne Pathogens and OSHA certifications.
• Ability to meet local practitioner registration and health‑law requirements.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
