About the role

Join Luminor’s Risk and Finance Reporting unit as a Mid/Senior Data Engineer. You will help build the data engineering foundation for risk and finance reporting, integrating data across systems and designing scalable solutions to meet evolving regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, implement and continuously improve data ingestion, processing, storage and sharing systems.
  • Build and optimise data architectures for performance, scalability and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using modern tools and frameworks.
  • Ensure seamless integration and synchronisation across multiple systems.
  • Uphold high standards of data quality, security, availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with analysts, software engineers and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshoot software issues and fix defects.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting for data workflows.

Required profile

  • 3‑5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer (financial industry experience is a plus).
  • Proven expertise with SQL and Python.
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Knowledge of streaming data pipelines (Kafka, Spark, Flink) and data‑pipeline tools (Airflow, dbt).
  • Familiarity with data‑warehousing solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, test automation and infrastructure‑as‑code.
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written.
