Mid/Senior Front End Developer

About the role

Sensor Tower is seeking a Mid/Senior Front End Developer to design and deliver complex, scalable frontend systems for its digital intelligence platform. You will own major technical components, shape product direction, and collaborate across product, data‑science, and backend teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deliver complex, scalable frontend systems while removing unnecessary complexity.
• Partner with Product Managers to co‑author requirements and ensure engineering feasibility.
• Lead technical decision‑making for medium‑to‑large features and mentor junior engineers.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, technical debt, and systemic issues in the frontend stack.
• Advocate best practices in React, TypeScript, and web performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Backend Engineers to ensure seamless data flow and system reliability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with deep specialization in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Proven ability to architect complex state‑management solutions and design maintainable systems.
• Experience elevating peers through code reviews, teaching patterns, and best practices.
• Competence in writing robust unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, Playwright).
• Deep understanding of web performance, browser internals, and optimization for data‑heavy applications.
• Product‑owner mindset with the ability to question requirements and propose better solutions.
