Overhead Contact System (OCS) Design Expert – Estonia

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Overhead Contact System (OCS) Design Expert to lead the OCS engineering effort for a major transport project in Estonia. Reporting directly to the OCS Design Manager, you will be the technical authority for all Estonia‑specific OCS matters and will oversee the creation of both generic and detailed designs.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for all Estonia‑specific OCS issues and report to the OCS Design Manager.
• Support the OCS Design Manager in developing the overall generic design and detailed design.
• Lead, mentor and supervise a local team of OCS designers to produce the application design for Estonia.
• Ensure that all designs fully comply with Estonian legislation, national standards and technical specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• At least 10 years of verified experience in OCS design with responsibilities matching those described.
• Professional proficiency (minimum CEFR B2) in both English and Estonian.
• Valid local Estonian certificate for OCS design to be submitted for the ENE Engineer’s Statement of No Objection.
• Full‑time availability in Estonia for the duration of the project, with no other concurrent employment.
