Product Security Specialist – IEC 62443 & Cybersecurity

About the role

Proekspert is seeking a Product Security Specialist to help its manufacturing and smart‑device clients meet IEC 62443, the EU Cyber Resilience Act and related cybersecurity standards. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating regulatory requirements into practical security solutions for embedded and IT/OT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Consult clients on device security and compliance with IEC 62443, EU CRA and other relevant standards.
• Perform cybersecurity risk assessments, threat modelling and secure architecture reviews for components and systems.
• Develop embedded software to satisfy IEC 62443‑4‑2 compliance requirements.
• Collaborate across functional teams to turn complex regulatory language into actionable tasks.
• Brief executive stakeholders on compliance risks and mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience with a cybersecurity standard or framework (e.g., IEC 62443, NIS2, NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001/27002).
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and how hardware/software vulnerabilities are exploited.
• Excellent spoken and written English with the ability to explain technical compliance concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
