Quality Assurance Senior Specialist

About the role

Join Wise’s Quality Assurance team as a Senior Specialist, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of compliance and risk management across complex, high‑risk cases. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, providing independent assurance, identifying control gaps, and driving continuous improvement through data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Execute quality checks and calibrations for the most complex and high‑risk cases using test scripts and scorecards.
• Lead thematic reviews, resolve escalations, and perform root‑cause analysis to support consistent decision‑making.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product, Line 2 and other stakeholders to align outcomes with Wise’s risk appetite and policies.
• Support audit and regulatory activities as required.
• Drive calibration activities internally and across teams to ensure best‑practice outcomes.
• Analyse QA data with advanced analytical techniques and AI to identify trends, investigate issues and present actionable recommendations.
• Mentor colleagues, share knowledge and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Meet individual and team KPIs and SLAs while maintaining speed and quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance, risk assessment or compliance within a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data, identify patterns and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Excellent judgment to challenge findings and ensure decisions align with risk appetite.
• Ability to communicate insights to stakeholders and influence continuous improvement.
• Commitment to meeting deadlines, optimizing processing times and taking ownership of results.
