Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

Join Wise’s Quality Assurance team to help build world‑class, scalable operations that keep customers safe and deliver great experiences. You will provide independent, expert assurance over how work is done, spotting risk, identifying control gaps, and turning insights into practical improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct holistic, risk‑based reviews using test scripts and scorecards to assess compliance with global and regional policies.
• Assess risk, materiality and root causes for each finding, providing clear, policy‑aligned recommendations.
• Participate in calibration exercises to share findings and ensure consistent decisions across the team.
• Communicate outcomes to stakeholders, maintaining robust records and audit trails.
• Analyse emerging themes and trends, recommending continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Scope, plan and execute root‑cause analyses or targeted investigations when assigned.
• Contribute to team collaboration, knowledge sharing and achievement of KPIs/SLAs.
• Meet deadlines, optimise processing times and take full ownership of results.

Required profile

• 2+ years of QA experience or experience in a relevant servicing function such as AML investigation, SAR reporting, fraud, or KYC (EDD/CDD).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess risk and materiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear stakeholder reporting.
• Proactive attitude, adaptability and commitment to quality and speed.
