R&D Project Manager

About the role

Repligen develops technologies that enable lifesaving biologic therapies and is looking for an experienced R&D Project Manager to lead innovation, development and implementation projects within its bioprocessing equipment portfolio. You will manage several cross-functional product development projects from concept through commercialization, working closely with Engineering, R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and Commercial teams. The role reports directly to the Senior Manager – R&D PMO.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple new product development projects from concept through commercialization.
• Establish and drive project plans, budgets, resource plans, risk management and stakeholder management.
• Lead cross-functional teams, keeping team members accountable for their tasks.
• Facilitate project meetings, design reviews, prototype builds, testing activities and documentation development.
• Drive alignment across stakeholders and provide regular project status updates.
• Support product transfer into manufacturing and commercialization activities.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in product development within industrial equipment, biotechnology, life sciences, medical devices or related industries.
• Strong understanding of project management methodology and governance experience.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams in a dynamic, fast-changing environment and to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
