Regulatory Framework Owner (Legal Focus)

About the role

Join Swedbank as a Regulatory Framework Owner with a legal focus, supporting the Financial Institutions customer segment. You will act as the country representative, ensuring that AML/KYC regulations are interpreted consistently and embedded across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a holistic view of governance, regulatory frameworks, and internal documents for Financial Institutions.
• Monitor legislative changes, assess impact, and define compliance measures.
• Align stakeholders on regulatory interpretations and translate them into clear controls and guidance.
• Advise on AML/CTF regulatory matters and support cross‑border projects at the Baltic level.
• Lead the development of AML/KYC processes tailored to financial institutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in law.
• Minimum five years of experience in the financial sector or commercial law.
• Experience in AML/CTF or working with financial institutions is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Fluent in English and Estonian, with the capacity to work remotely and independently.
