Sales Manager – Ship Repair & Retrofit

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales Manager to drive new business for ship repair and retrofit services. You will identify potential clients, understand their technical requirements and collaborate with our project team to turn opportunities into clear proposals and contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and develop relationships with shipowners, ship managers, shipyards and marine contractors.
• Qualify enquiries, gather scope, drawings, schedule and site information to prepare offers.
• Work with technical and project colleagues on pricing, resources, timelines and work boundaries.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms and follow opportunities through contract award and handover.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and report on opportunities and forecasts.
• Meet clients and visit vessels, ports, shipyards and industry events as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years B2B sales experience, preferably in marine, ship repair, industrial or technical services.
• Proven ability to find new clients and develop opportunities independently.
• Understanding of project‑based work and ability to discuss scope, schedules and execution requirements with clients.
• Strong proposal writing, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages such as Estonian or Russian are a plus.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
