Senior KYC Operations Analyst – Night Shift

About the role

Wise is seeking a Senior KYC Operations Analyst to join the Tallinn Senior Management Approval team on night shifts. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards by conducting enhanced due diligence and maintaining up‑to‑date KYC records for high‑risk customers.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess high‑risk customer reports, providing analysis and approval according to policies.
• Analyse transaction histories to identify behavioural patterns that may indicate risk.
• Perform periodic reviews of customer accounts and update records as needed.
• Prioritise cases, request additional documentation, and follow up to meet risk‑appetite criteria.
• Conduct in‑depth research using internet sources and third‑party vendors to verify customer information.
• Collaborate with internal teams on escalated or complex cases.
• Provide guidance and respond to inquiries from peers, front‑line staff, and management regarding high‑risk approvals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and Wise’s products and services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enhanced due diligence and high‑risk customer onboarding.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Willingness to work night‑shift hours.
• Ability to exercise discretion and make risk‑based decisions.
• Understanding of AML/CFT regulatory frameworks.
