Senior KYC/AML Specialist

About the role

SEB Life and Pension Baltic, a leading life insurance and long-term savings provider in the Baltic region, is looking for an experienced Senior KYC/AML Specialist to strengthen its Baltic team. The role combines analytical work with expert advisory on complex AML, KYC and sanctions matters, and contributes to developing processes and ways of working.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare customer onboarding materials and carry out timely, high-quality customer relationship reviews for the Customer Committee
• Assess and analyse customer profiles, transactions and risks of money laundering, terrorist financing and international sanctions
• Analyse transactions, investigate circumstances, identify risks and escalate suspicious activity according to internal policies and laws
• Communicate with customers when needed to clarify information
• Ensure the customer data renewal process runs effectively
• Gather and analyse data and prepare AML, KYC and sanctions reports
• Develop and maintain internal guidelines and processes, and advise the sales team
• Take part in AML, KYC and sanctions projects and initiatives

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and processes, with previous experience in a similar field
• Higher education, preferably in law, economics, finance or a related field, and/or a professional certification in AML/KYC, compliance or financial crime prevention
• Ability to work independently, meet fixed deadlines and work accurately and reliably
• Excellent written and spoken Estonian and English
