Senior Product Analyst - Fraud Squad

About the role

Wise is looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join its Global Fraud Squad. The role helps Wise scale safely and efficiently by finding gaps in fraud controls and strengthening intelligence through analytics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to turn insights into action, improving how fraud is detected, prevented and responded to.

Key responsibilities

• Hunt proactively for anomalies, blind spots and control gaps using transaction, event and case data, and build rules and features for the detection engine.
• Deliver frequent findings and recommended actions that lead to operational fixes, and run root-cause and cohort analyses to propose prioritised remediation.
• Understand the customer experience affected by controls and drive continuous improvement.
• Define and own fraud KPIs across products and markets with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Operations and other analysts; link business outcomes to control-level metrics.
• Act as the primary analytical contact for fraud workstreams on new market launches, running pre-launch risk scenario modelling and giving go/no-go recommendations.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in product analytics in a complex, data-driven environment.
• Strong communicator who translates complex analyses into clear recommendations and influences senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mind and product intuition focused on payments, transaction flows and online behaviour.
• Ability to dig into data, surface anomalies, share findings frequently and drive action across teams.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL and Python (pandas/scikit-learn or similar).
• Experience building dashboards in BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
• Nice to have: FinTech/payments and fraud experience, feature engineering and model monitoring, and familiarity with Airflow, DBT, Git, Snowflake and production data platforms.
