Senior Software Engineer – Customer Identity

About the role

We are looking for a (Senior) Software Engineer (m/f/d) on an unlimited, full‑time contract to join our agile product development team in Tallinn, Berlin or Stockholm. You will help build and maintain Riverty’s Customer Identity Platform, which secures millions of consumers while delivering a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document and operate robust, maintainable software for the Customer Identity Platform.
• Participate in the end‑to‑end product development process, ensuring value, usability and feasibility.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, architects and other engineers to discover optimal solutions.
• Monitor system health and application metrics, investigate incidents and resolve issues promptly.
• Identify improvement opportunities, enhance quality, performance, accessibility and robustness.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, bringing industry standards and best practices into the codebase.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience with .NET/C# development.
• Strong expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture and distributed, event‑driven systems.
• Solid knowledge of application and information security, and willingness to participate in on‑call rotations.
• Fluent English, self‑driven, proactive and able to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
