Senior Software Engineer – Customer Identity

About the role

Join Riverty’s Customer Identity team to design, build and operate a platform that secures millions of consumers while delivering a frictionless experience. You will work in an agile product development environment, collaborating with cross‑functional partners to ensure the platform meets high standards of security, performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document and operate robust software components for the Customer Identity Platform.
• Participate in the full product lifecycle, ensuring value, usability and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, architects and other engineers to discover optimal solutions.
• Monitor system health, analyse metrics and resolve incidents for a live‑critical service.
• Identify improvement opportunities, propose enhancements and drive quality across accessibility, performance and maintainability.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, aligning the codebase with industry best practices.

Required profile

• Self‑driven, proactive and solution‑oriented.
• Confident communicator with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
• Empathetic, collaborative and open to continuous learning.

Required skills

• .NET / C# development (5+ years).
• RESTful API design and backend service development.
• Microservices architecture, distributed systems and event‑driven communication.
• Application and information security fundamentals.
• Azure Cloud, Docker, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps); familiarity with Kubernetes, MongoDB and IaC is a plus.
• Front‑end technologies: TypeScript, React (or willingness to work full‑stack).
• Identity and access management: OAuth, OpenID Connect, Auth0, PingOne AIC.
