Senior Software Engineer (GoLang, PHP)

About the role

Gelato is an AI‑first, cloud‑native platform that connects e‑commerce merchants with a global network of on‑demand producers. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will design, build and operate high‑performance backend services that power this ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Use the latest technologies to solve real customer problems at massive scale.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional engineers to deliver high‑quality code.
• Share knowledge and help evolve team best practices.
• Design, develop and deploy backend services focused on high availability, low latency and scalability.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of services, including participation in an on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑growing environment.
• Passion for agile, continuous delivery, test‑driven development, traceability and observability.
• Curious, experimental mindset and willingness to share ideas.
