Senior Technical Product Manager - Biometric Authentication

About the role

Veriff builds an identity verification platform used by marketplaces, fintechs and other platforms for onboarding and authentication. Biometric Authentication is its second-largest product, running in production at enterprise scale. The company is hiring a Senior Product Manager to take primary ownership of this product, driving customer research, competitive roadmap strategy and pricing, in close partnership with machine learning, engineering, design, sales and GTM. The role suits someone who works autonomously, collaborates across functions and thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Key responsibilities

• Take primary ownership of Biometric Authentication: strategy, roadmap and execution across a cross-functional squad of ML, engineering and design.
• Own a commercial metric such as revenue, adoption or conversion, diagnose the gap and design customer research and process changes to close it with sales and GTM.
• Make decisions at scale on trade-offs between cost, conversion and latency against live enterprise contracts in production.
• Turn enterprise customer feedback into a prioritized, defensible roadmap.
• Track the biometric and identity landscape and shape packaging and pricing based on real unit economics.
• Reach independent operation within about 60 days and focus early on the highest-impact work.

Required profile

• Technical background and fluency with technical systems: distributed transactional systems, machine learning, operational metrics, COGS and SDK delivery.
• Ability to query, debug and do root cause analysis independently; programming ability is a plus.
• Experience thriving in a scale-up with high ambiguity and a fast pace.
• Strong understanding of B2B2C user experience.
• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Experience in fintech or marketplace products.
• Background in authentication, security or identity.
• Previous software engineering or data science development experience.
