Technical Solutions and Implementation Lead, Third Party Management & Procurement
Wise · Tallinn
Job description
About the role
Wise is hiring a Technical Solutions and Implementation Lead in Tallinn to own the systems that power how Wise onboards third parties, signs contracts and runs key approvals and reports on them. The role improves the systems and workflows behind the third-party lifecycle, turning processes into simple workflows and shipping automation through hands-on platform configuration. It is not a software engineering role: outcomes come from technical solution design, no-code platform configuration, integration/API delivery with partner teams, and disciplined releases.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain processes in non-code platforms (forms, templates, routing rules and logic, approvals, automations), owning complex changes and the systems themselves.
- Translate business requirements into a technical build plan (workflows logic, data model, edge cases, permissions, audit needs) and use AI where possible.
- Drive API-based integrations with partner teams such as finance and risk (data mapping, validation, failure modes, rollout), and troubleshoot cross-system issues with logs and structured debugging.
- Own testing, UAT, rollout and rollback plans, release notes, incident handling and root-cause prevention.
- Act as the go-to technical owner: maintain runbooks and standards, train the team and stakeholders, and reduce reliance on external providers.
Required profile
- Strong hands-on platform delivery: configuring and administering enterprise tools and shipping workflow changes to production.
- Integration mindset: leading API integrations, defining payload requirements, mapping fields, validating responses and understanding auth basics (API keys, OAuth).
- Systems thinking: understanding cross-tool dependencies and how changes affect downstream workflows, reporting, audit trails and controls.
- Release discipline: running safe releases end-to-end, with testing, rollout and rollback plans and post-release monitoring.
- Operational ownership: handling escalations calmly (triage, reproduce, fix or escalate, RCA, prevention) and keeping standards and runbooks up to date.
Nice to have
- Experience with CLM, procurement, third-party risk, service management or finance systems.
- Familiarity with webhooks, SSO, data sync patterns and integration monitoring.
- Experience building usable reporting from imperfect tools.
