Transfer Pricing Specialist

About the role

The Transfer Pricing Specialist joins the in-house Tax team and supports the Group's Transfer Pricing function across compliance, documentation and advisory activities. The role develops Transfer Pricing expertise in a fast-paced, international commodity trading environment, with close interaction with the wider Tax team and the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation, including local and master files, in line with OECD Guidelines and local legislation.
• Support the maintenance and implementation of intercompany pricing policies aligned with the arm's length principle.
• Contribute to transfer pricing aspects of corporate income tax returns and related filings.
• Review intercompany agreements so that contractual terms reflect the underlying dealings.
• Support responses to tax authority queries and contribute to tax audits.
• Monitor changes in transfer pricing legislation, OECD guidance and case law and assess their impact on the Group.
• Work with Controlling, Finance, Legal, M&A and Commercial teams to gather data and understand business activities.
• Contribute to ad hoc advisory projects, analyses and initiatives, and support improvements to processes, policies and reporting.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Tax, Accounting, Law or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Transfer Pricing, in-house, Big Four, Tax Authority or advisory/consulting.
• Previous experience with transfer pricing documentation and compliance; advisory exposure is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and build stakeholder relationships.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of the arm's length principle, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and common methods.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Excel; Oracle or other ERP systems highly desirable.
