Corporate Security Engineer

About the role

pawaTech is seeking a hands‑on Corporate Security Engineer to protect its systems, devices, identities and office infrastructure. You will work closely with IT Operations, the SOC and IT security teams to improve endpoint and access security, support incident response and strengthen controls across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve endpoint security, device compliance and data protection controls.
• Own endpoint device management across multiple operating systems and locations.
• Maintain and enhance identity, access and role‑based security controls.
• Review and fine‑tune security monitoring alerts and rules to improve detection and reduce false positives.
• Support the SOC with incident investigations, evidence preservation, response and recovery.
• Assess security risks of third‑party tools and services.
• Collaborate with IT Operations to strengthen office networks, physical access controls and CCTV monitoring.
• Automate recurring security and administrative activities.
• Maintain clear security procedures, policies and technical documentation.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in system administration, infrastructure, network operations, IT security or a similar technical role.
• Strong practical experience with endpoint security, device management, endpoint hardening and compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender and Sentinel.
• Good understanding of identity and access management, SSO, SCIM, RBAC and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience administering and securing Google Workspace, Slack and other corporate platforms.
• Experience supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS environments.
• Good understanding of incident response, security monitoring, UEBA and Blue‑Team practices.
