Data Protection Officer / Head of Privacy

About the role

Pipedrive is seeking a Data Protection Officer to lead its global privacy program. You will work closely with legal, product, engineering, information security, marketing and sales teams to embed privacy and responsible AI into all company initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own, maintain and continuously improve Pipedrive’s ISO‑certified privacy program, including policies, processes, documentation and metrics.
• Lead the Privacy Team and oversee the Group Record Retention and Management Schedule.
• Monitor and apply relevant privacy regulations across all locations, assess compliance risks, and define objectives that align business goals with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct and supervise DPIAs, LIAs and TIAs, recommending mitigating measures based on risk levels.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to embed privacy principles in AI feature development, advising on data‑use implications.
• Develop, deliver and measure privacy, AI and data‑compliance training for staff.
• Stay up‑to‑date on privacy law developments and represent the company in audits and compliance monitoring activities.

Required skills

• GDPR compliance expertise.
• ISO‑27701 knowledge.
• Conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
• Legitimate Interests Assessments (LIA).
• Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA).
