Head of Legal

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Legal to lead PLG Group’s legal function and support its international growth. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Board and executive leadership team, you will translate legal and regulatory complexity into clear business choices and proportionate risk decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive and board advice on material legal, regulatory, governance and reputational matters, delivering clear recommendations and escalating concerns when needed.
• Define and implement the Group’s legal strategy, set risk priorities and adopt a proportionate risk‑management approach focused on material business risks.
• Lead the full legal lifecycle of cross‑border M&A, from structuring, due diligence and regulatory screening through negotiation, signing, closing and post‑acquisition integration of contracts, employees, payments, privacy, IP and compliance.
• Prepare legal readiness for new market entries, covering corporate structure, ticketing, payments, consumer protection, privacy, employment, competition and local regulatory requirements.
• Oversee marketplace and payment regulation, product compliance, consumer protection, data protection, AI‑related legal issues and contract management.
• Build a scalable Group legal and compliance framework with clear ownership, controls and escalation paths.

Required profile

• Senior legal professional with proven leadership experience in a multinational environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in cross‑border M&A, regulatory compliance and post‑integration legal work.
• Strong knowledge of ticketing, payments, consumer protection, data privacy and emerging AI regulations.
• Ability to advise C‑suite executives and board members on complex legal matters.
• Excellent governance, risk management and strategic thinking skills.
