Head of Legal

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Legal to lead the legal function of PLG Group, a leading digital ticketing marketplace in Central Europe and the Baltics. Based in our Tallinn office, you will work closely with the CEO, Board and executive team to translate complex legal and regulatory issues into clear business decisions and risk‑balanced solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to the CEO, Board and senior management on material regulatory, governance and reputational matters.
• Define and implement the Group’s legal strategy, prioritising material business risks and establishing a proportionate risk‑management framework.
• Lead the full legal lifecycle of cross‑border M&A, including structuring, due diligence, regulatory screening, negotiation, closing and post‑acquisition integration of contracts, employment, payments, privacy, IP and compliance.
• Ensure legal readiness for market entry and expansion, covering corporate structure, ticketing, payment systems, consumer protection, data privacy, competition and local regulations.
• Oversee compliance with marketplace and payment regulations, product liability, consumer protection, data protection, AI and other emerging legal domains.
• Build a scalable Group legal and compliance framework with clear ownership, controls and escalation paths.

Required profile

• Senior legal professional with extensive experience in corporate, M&A and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to advise C‑suite and Board members on high‑impact legal issues and to influence business strategy.
• Strong track record of managing complex cross‑border transactions and post‑integration legal processes.
• Experience in the digital ticketing, e‑commerce or marketplace sector is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in a fast‑growing international environment.
