Program Manager, Safety

About the role

As a Program Manager, Safety you will lead Bolt’s Central Safety team in monitoring, analysing and preventing risks that could affect users worldwide. You will own safety‑related KPIs, develop risk assessments for new projects and ensure safety considerations are embedded across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse safety risk trends, incidents and crises to identify emerging risks and recommend preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Data Science to validate and improve predictive models for risk detection.
• Develop, maintain and optimise risk‑prevention products and processes to protect users and minimise financial and reputational impact.
• Lead safety programmes and coordinate cross‑functional efforts with Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Support, Public Policy, Marketing, Compliance and Legal.
• Provide expert guidance to embed safety considerations across projects and operations.
• Report regularly on programme metrics, initiatives and progress against strategic goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in program management with a focus on Trust & Safety or risk management.
• Strong collaboration skills working with engineering, data science, product and legal teams.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and adapt to evolving priorities.
