Senior GNC Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Engineer to lead the development of GNC solutions across our missile portfolio. You will design, analyse, and validate navigation, guidance and control algorithms that ensure precise, stable and robust flight performance for next‑generation air‑defence systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of navigation algorithms, sensor‑fusion architectures and state‑estimation solutions.
• Develop guidance algorithms, trajectory‑optimisation strategies and flight‑control laws that meet mission requirements.
• Create and maintain flight‑dynamics models and simulation environments using MATLAB/Simulink and Python.
• Conduct robustness, sensitivity and Monte‑Carlo analyses to validate system performance under realistic conditions.
• Collaborate with flight‑physics, airframe, actuation, sensor and systems‑engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Lead design reviews, produce technical documentation, perform risk assessments and mentor junior engineers.
• Support flight‑test planning, execution and post‑flight analysis to continuously improve models and algorithms.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in GNC, flight dynamics or related aerospace fields, preferably on missile, launch‑vehicle, aircraft or UAV programmes.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and to relocate to Tallinn.
• Strong alignment with the mission to build affordable, mass‑manufacturable defence technologies.
