Senior HR Generalist – Fixed-term (Maternity Cover)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join Betsson’s Estonia hub on a fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave. As the primary HR partner for roughly 120 employees and their managers, you will ensure a compliant, consistent and positive employee experience while supporting the broader Baltic HR community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end HR operations in Estonia, from pre‑boarding through exit, ensuring compliance with local legislation and internal policies.
• Act as the main point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, performance conversations, employee relations, leave management and general queries.
• Support the local implementation of global HR processes such as performance reviews, objective setting, learning & development, engagement initiatives and policy roll‑outs.
• Collaborate with Global Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Maintain accurate HR records, employee data and reporting, ensuring data integrity across HR and payroll systems.
• Partner with Finance for routine HR reporting, headcount tracking and payroll inputs.
• Assist with day‑to‑day operations of the Estonia office to foster a smooth and engaging workplace environment.
• Contribute to HR delivery across the Baltics, providing support and continuity for regional colleagues.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner, preferably in a multi‑national environment.
• Strong knowledge of Estonian employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to manage the full employee lifecycle and handle employee relations matters.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to work closely with local, regional and global HR teams.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to maintain high data accuracy.
