Data Engineer

About the role

Join Luminor as a Data Engineer and help build a local banking champion. You will work with cross‑functional teams to design, develop and optimise data pipelines that support analytics and business decisions across the Pan‑Baltic region.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non‑functional business requirements.
• Design, implement and automate ETL/ELT processes using tools such as KNIME, Alteryx or Pentaho.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for extraction, transformation and loading from diverse sources using SQL.
• Develop analytics tools and prototypes that provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to resolve data‑related technical issues.
• Drive reusability, standardisation and continuous improvement of data quality and reliability.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience as a data analyst or data engineer.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling.
• Experience with version control (Git) and deploying code to production.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
